Dr. Salkintzis from Lenovo presents 6G-SANDBOX in ETSI Research Conference

On the 6th-7th of February, ETSI Research Conference took place in Sophia Antipolis, France. In this context Dr. Apostolis Salkintzis, from Lenovo provided a high-level overview of the 6G-SANDBOX project and explained how it can help us in our journey to 6G.

The main objective of this project is to build an experimentation platform that can help us evaluate new technologies towards 6G and measure important 6G KPIs and KVIs.

It was also pointed out that the 6G-SANDBOX project is open to third-parties willing to contribute either with new technologies, or with new use-cases and experiments. The most important question from the audience was whether the 6G-SANDBOX platform will be able to interoperate with other experimentation platforms towards creating federated experimentation platforms.
