On the 21st – 23rd of October, the IEEE CAMAD 2024 was successfully held in Athens. 6G-SANDBOX, technically sponsored the conference, along with other projects. Additionally, 6G-SANDBOX co-organised a workshop titled ‘Empowering 6G Networks: First Workshop on Advancements in Research Infrastructures, Adaptive Frameworks and Global Architectural Evolution (Athena 2024). This workshop was chaired Dr. Harilaos Koumaras from NCSR Demokritos – Future Communication Networks – FRONT Research Group. The workshop had announced Call for Papers, and 19 papers were accepted and presented. Our partners, INFOLYSiS, NCSR ‘DEMOKRITOS’, OTE and LENOVO actively participated supporting the project with the following actions:

1. Demo Booth – NCSR “DEMOKRITOS”​, INFOLYSiS and OTE Group of Companies (HTO) held a demo booth, where the B5G Athens Experimentation Platform was presented by George Makropoulos and Dr. Harilaos Koumaras.
