6G-SANDBOX participated in the 12th FUSECO Forum

The 12th FUSECO Forum, held on November 7-8 by our partner Fraunhofer FOKUS, provided a platform for key discussions on the future of 5G and 6G technologies. Representing 6G-SANDBOX, which was one of the partners of the event, Project Coordinator Michael Dieudonne of Keysight Technologies presented an update on experimentation outcomes, while David Artuñedo from Telefónica shared insights on technology validation and non-terrestrial network measurement campaigns. A dedicated demo booth with a new 6G-SANDBOX poster encouraged new experimenters to engage. This influential forum spotlighted the latest advancements, offering networking and collaboration opportunities.

Keysight presents 6G-SANDBOX in IEEE Future Networks World Forum in Dubai

On the 15th-17th of October 2024, the IEEE Future Networks World Forum was held in Dubai. in this context. Isaam Maaz from Keysight, presented during Symposium on 6G Communications their research portfolio, focusing, among others, on 6G-SANDBOX testbeds, Digital twins and experimentation opportunities.

‘6G networks are expected to capitalize on high-performance computing, quantum computing, AI/ML, etc. Resource management will be crucial within 6G, and the network complexity will pose a challenge due to the very diverse applications and services, such as ultra-low latency, the growing demand for high positioning accuracy, dense heterogeneous architectures, machine-to-machine communication, the embodiment of sensing in communication systems, and contactless exchange of data, etc.’
