PowerStorm, is a winning proposal from Open Call 2, submitted by University of Cyprus and dedicated to developing performance- and energy-efficient solutions for next-generation wireless networks. In the video, we explore how PowerStorm enables intelligent scheduling of streaming analytics jobs by harnessing the power of the 6G-SANDBOX Berlin testbed and 5G-enabled user equipment (UE) with advanced processing capabilities. This approach supports sustainable, adaptive infrastructure designed to meet the demands of future 5G and 6G deployments.

The 7th Plenary Meeting of the 6G-SANDBOX project took place on the 20th-21st of May in Warsaw, Poland, and was successfully hosted by our partner IS-Wireless.
Over the course of two days, the consortium delved into the latest technical progress across the 6G-SANDBOX ecosystem. The meeting wrapped up with the final touches for our upcoming presence at EuCNC & 6G Summit 2025 — stay tuned for more!

The document provides a comprehensive overview of the project’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Value Indicators (KVIs). On top of this the document explores the experimentation framework, including the lifecycle of experiments and the methodology for validating KPIs and KVIs, as well as the involved stakeholders their role within the project. Moreover, it presents the key technologies and the role of 6G library within a trial network.

As every year, our partner Universidad de Málaga will host a booth at the event, featuring also the 6G-SANDBOX project! Now in its third year, the project continues to advance, and there’s no better way to catch up on our progress than by speaking with our Technical Manager, Pedro Merino Gomez. Pedro will also give a speech on May 13th at 10:05 AM, titled: “Los Proyectos Europeos que desarrollan y prueban 6G sobre Red Victoria”, where he’ll present insights into how European projects are developing and testing 6G technologies including 6G-SANDBOX.
