Open Call Winner 2 – REACT-6G project – Releases a demo video

REACT-6G is an extension of the 6G-SANDBOX testbed designed to provide a complete closed loop for intelligent 6G network functionalities. REACT-6G integrates advanced RAN equipment, interfaces, a near real-time Radio Intelligent Controller (RIC), and ML-powered xApps to enable intelligent, energy-efficient resource allocation in realistic 6G deployments.

Key features delivered by REACT-6G include:

1. Fully operational O-RAN compliant RAN components, including a high-performance server hosting RIC/CU and Open5GS core as virtual machines.

2. An O-RAN compliant Distributed Unit (DU) connected via high-speed 10G interfaces to existing RUs (Liteon and Benetel).

3. Two ML-assisted xApps for energy-efficient power control and data-rate maximization of RUs.

4. A Conflict Manager within the RIC that resolves conflicts between xApps based on configurable policies.
