IEEE Network – Journal Paper

In June 2025, a Journal paper was issued in IEEE Network.

This study compares the performance of three multipath protocols:
• Multi-connection Tactile Internet Protocol (MTIP)
• Multipath TCP (MPTCP)
• Multipath QUIC (MPQUIC)

The tests were conducted using the 6G-SANDBOX hashtagMalaga platform, leveraging its advanced multi connectivity capabilities.

EuCNC 2025 & 6G Summit 6G-SANDBOX Publication

At EuCNC & 6G Summit, Filip Ivanovic from Keysight Technologies) presented the 6G-SANDBOX paper “Developing Adaptive Calibration and Benchmarking Methods for 6G Performance Measurement”, building on insights from Deliverable 5.3 ‘Intermediate Report on KPI and KVI Validation’.

This paper explores the development of an Adaptive Calibration methodology, which can be used to provide context to results in the 6G space so that to ensure platform agnosticism. Exemplary results of its application in the 6G-SANDBOX project, exploiting four (4) different and geographically dispersed experimentation platforms, are presented hereby.

EuCNC 2025 & 6G Summit Conference paper – Developing Adaptive Calibration and Benchmarking Methods for 6G Performance Measurement – Implementation and Conclusions from 6G-SANDBOX

The paper “Developing Adaptive Calibration and Benchmarking Methods for 6G Performance Measurement – Implementation and Conclusions from 6G-SANDBOX” presented by Filip Ivanovic (Keysight) at EuCNC 2025 & 6G Summit during the OPE1 – Measurements and Management of 5G/6G Networks session, is directly derived from insights in the 6G-SANDBOX Deliverable 5.3: Intermediate Report on KPI and KVI Validation. In 6G, the use of virtualized and Service-Based Architectures (SBA) makes performance results harder to interpret compared to previous generations. To ensure meaningful experimentation, unbiased by the limitations of specific B5G/6G platforms, 6G-SANDBOX developed an Adaptive Calibration methodology. This approach enables platform-agnostic performance assessment and has been validated across four geographically distributed testbeds.
